The Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU), founded in 1502, is one of the oldest universities in Germany and a leading research-oriented public university located in Saxony-Anhalt. With around 19,000 students and more than 2,500 academic staff, it offers a wide range of study programs in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, economics, law, medicine, and agricultural sciences. The university has a long tradition of academic excellence and research, with strong ties to international institutions. Bachelor’s Programs

  • Secondary school leaving certificate equivalent to the German Abitur

  • Applications processed via Uni-Assist for most international students
